We seek a Welfare Benefits Officer to provide comprehensive welfare benefits advice service and key contact for residents across the GHG geographical area maximising their income through the system and raising residents’ awareness of their welfare rights.
You’ll design structures, systems and practices to support Financial Inclusion and contribute to the wider issue of Community Development, Regeneration and tenant empowerment.
With extensive knowledge of the welfare benefits system, working in a similar field previously; you must be able to demonstrate you can manage and maintain income maximisation for residents. You should be IT literate and able to use systems to monitor and evaluate outcomes and be able to analyse project data to produce reports and present findings to management.
