Suffolk Coastal District Council and Waveney District Council are leading the way when it comes to working in partnership. We already have a joint management team and have agreed to join the majority of our services to ensure that we are delivering them in a high quality and cost efficient way.

To drive this forward, we have already taken steps to integrate our finance infrastructure and are in the process of creating a single finance team. We’re looking for two highly skilled Managers with a solid financial background to proactively support the organisations in evolving the way they work and to lead the team through this period of change.

Responsible for managing an effective and efficient delivery of increasingly challenging Financial planning and Financial management services including ; supporting the Medium Term Financial Strategy process, budget setting, financial monitoring and reporting, budget maintenance, providing timely and proactive management information support to Senior Management team and Members and liaising with our service teams and external partners.

You will have a proven track record in managing teams to deliver a first class accounting service, CCAB qualified with post qualification experience gained in either the public or private sector and experience of successful operational delivery within a changing environment.

These will be challenging roles, providing the successful individuals with the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to lead teams through a change process and implement a culture of continuous improvement
