The contrasts and challenges in Environmental Health Commercial work range from the dozens of restaurants in the “Curry Capital” of Brick Lane, to the high-tech corporate world-wide financial institutions in Canary Wharf, employing thousands of people using the Services that Environmental Health is responsible for.

We are currently recruiting for an individual that will enable us to deliver our Healthy Eating Award scheme. The scheme has been running for a year and we have been successful in attracting business to apply for the Health Eating Award and to review the food choices that they are able to offer the public.

The post holder will work on the project by organising workshops, visiting businesses and advising them on the criteria of the award and reviewing applications. You must have clear communication skills and be motivated to deliver the outcomes detailed in our action plan.

This is a fixed term contract until March 2011.
