Location Based in Town Hall, Weston-super-Mare

Resourceful, and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills, you will spend most of your time working with service managers reviewing their current contract arrangements with suppliers and driving increased value through arranging our corporate contracts for goods and services

You will have an impressive track record around contract negotiation and procurement especially the letting long term service contracts

You will have an Advanced Diploma Level 5 Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply or equivalent and may be working towards an MCIPS qualification..

The strategic procurement team, working within the Business Improvement Team, is committed to the delivery of excellent value for money on our £130m annual spend, helping us continue to deliver quality services to our 190,000 residents.
