You will bring proven expertise to the work of Southwark’s Corporate Programmes Unit, which has a vital role to play in the modernisation of council services and improvement of outcomes to residents.

Your primary focus will be on the delivery of the comprehensive redevelopment of the historic Bermondsey Town Hall. With the aim of creating a modern, flexible and sustainable public building, you will be involved in project planning and co-ordination of work streams, as well as stakeholder management. You will then go on to deliver a range of corporate projects across the spectrum of modernisation activities.

With an appropriate degree or professional qualification, you will have excellent and proven technical project management skills. Your ability to influence and negotiate will be supported by effective team leadership and you will have an in-depth understanding of how to manage change successfully
