Due to retirement we have an opportunity to welcome a new member to our team.

Based within the IT Unit at Queens Buildings and reporting to the PC Support Officer, you will make a key contribution to the support of the IT infrastructure used within the authority.

You will be part of a small team developing and maintaining the Network, Server, Desktop, Internet and Printer environment using products from Microsoft, Novell, VMWare, Symantec, Cisco, Dell, Philips and many others.

There are three main sites with in excess of 50 Servers and 500 PC’s in use.

With at least one years IT support experience in a medium to large sized organisation, the successful applicant will be enthusiastic and have a wide range of IT skills. You will have excellent diagnostic and communications skills with a good customer care ethos, and a commitment to ensuring that a professional service is provided to customers.
