Healthy Lifestyles Co-Ordinator

Salary:£24,342 to £26,074, Free sports facilities, car parking 

Hours:37 hours per week, occasionally working evening and weekends plus flexi 

Working pattern:Full Time, Flexible Hours, Permanent, Contract position

Are you concerned about the dietary habits and eating patterns that are affecting our Nation?

Working in conjunction with West Kent PCT, you will be responsible for delivering initiatives and health improvement schemes around the borough; tackling issues such as diet, obesity, healthy eating and physical activity. Working alongside external organisations, you will ensure that the needs and objectives of any strategies are met. You will be able to deliver training sessions and events in order to influence change. Project and performance monitoring will be critical to success, linked in to LAA and PCT targets.

Experience in the planning and delivery of community based projects is essential, as is a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software. An understanding of how dietary habits and physical exercise is affected by lifestyle is also a must. Applicants are expected to have related work experience and/or relevant Degree. A full valid Driving licence, as well as a suitable vehicle for work purposes is required.
