Genesis Housing Association is one of the country’s leading providers of Social Housing.

They own and manage 30,000 homes across London and the east of England with several thousand new homes in development. The association offers a wide range of housing options, including affordable rented, temporary, supported and shared ownership homes. Genesis also provides property management and maintenance services to others.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance you will take responsibility for maintaining the financial systems, providing accurate financial information to the business and aiding the business with system modernisation and implementation.

• Leading the systems team, developing a results driven culture and delivering a high quality service to the rest of the business.
• Responsible for systems improvement and regularly reviewing the requirements of the business in conjunction with key stakeholders, ensuring training is delivered when appropriate.
• Developing, implementing and monitoring system controls, including system checks, interface routines and period end procedures.
• Managing the system upgrades, including updating financial processes in coordination system changes, devising comprehensive project plans and leading on the systems development process.

You must be a fully qualified accountant with strong interpersonal skills, proven systems implementation experience and working knowledge of the Agresso finance system. Ideally you will have developed a budgeting tool and implemented a ‘purchase to pay’ system in previous roles.
