Brent is a large and diverse London Borough with an innovative council at its heart. We have recently embarked upon a bold and ambitious programme of change with the aim of creating a more effective, efficient and streamlined authority fit to occupy our new Civic Centre from 2013. This programme contains a set of initiatives which will make our One Council principles into a daily reality; that will remodel key statutory services to meet the expectations of service users; and will deliver sustainable regeneration and improvement in the quality of life experienced by all residents in Brent.

We are now establishing a One Council Support team to co-ordinate the programmes implementation across the organisation and are seeking to recruit experienced and skilled programme management professionals to take forward this exciting and challenging initiative.

Responsibilities

As Head of Programme Management you will be responsible for providing effective programme leadership to our One Council initiative. You will be experienced in successfully delivering complex organisational change, capable of working with senior stakeholders across the organisation with a clear focus on delivery and benefits realisation. Ensuring sound governance and leadership of the programme is a key responsibility.
