Do you have a sound understanding of the lifestyle activities that affect those suffering from and at risk of drug & alcohol abuse?
As Drugs & Alcohol Co-ordinator you will work in partnership with West Kent PCT and other statutory agencies to deliver health improvement initiatives around drug & alcohol abuse. You will deliver a wide range of training sessions, events, projects and initiatives to meet the needs of targeted groups and residents in order to influence change.
You will carry out research and consultations; to recommend and carry out initiatives on behalf of the CDRP linked to the LAA targets and the Government PSA25: Reduce the harm caused by drugs and alcohol. You will monitor performance to demonstrate the effectiveness of initiatives and key outcomes identified.
With a relevant degree or experience in the planning and delivery of community based projects and of working with the voluntary sector and other organisations to promote participation in health initiatives on drug and alcohol abuse and associated mental and other health issues. A full valid driving licence is required and provision of a suitable vehicle for work purposes
Fixed term contract for 2 years
