| Location | Rochford is situated 35 miles from London and 5 miles from Southend-on-Sea on the main Liverpool Street Line. Contained with a 65 square mile area the District includes the historic towns of Rayleigh and Rochford, a number of smaller villages and the island of Foulness. It's boundaries are the River Crouch to the north and Southend-on-Sea to the south. There are three main line stations within the district and good connection to the M25/M11 motorways. | ||
We are looking for a versatile and enthusiastic individual to join our Environmental Services Division.
In this key role you will monitor day-to-day operations and performance of the contractor to ensure the integrated waste collection and street cleansing services run smoothly. You will liaise with the contractor, other agencies and members of the public, so you will need to call on excellent communication skills.
You will have good literacy, numeracy and basic computer skills (Mircrosoft Office). You will be required to work out in all weathers, using your own initiative and you will be dedicated to improving services within a customer focussed environment which may occasionally involve working outside normal working hours.
