Medway Council is embarking on an exciting and challenging school capital programme involving the construction of three new Academies alongside our Primary Capital Programme. You will be a key member of our team, as the expert client on a number of Medway’s school capital projects, including at least one Academy project. You will enjoy a varied and stimulating role which allows you to stretch your capabilities.
You will have previous experience of managing and monitoring large value and/or complex construction projects, ideally within a Children’s Services environment.
You will have excellent communication, analysis, negotiation, influencing and planning skills as well as financial acumen and robust project management experience.
You will share our passion and commitment to deliver our vision for 21st Century schools and the council’s priority of Children and young people having the best start in life.
