About the Position…

Following a restructure of the Hyde Group, the finance department is recruiting a Business Partner to provide high-quality commercial and financial support to colleagues in the Group Business Development team.

In this role you will help to identify, win and deliver new business opportunities to help the Group achieve its strategic growth aspirations.

You will use your commercial nous to assess and advise on the suitability, acceptability and feasibility of new business opportunities.

You will liaise with people at all levels of the business and they will look to you to provide them with clarity around financial, structural and legal issues that are often complex.

You will work collaboratively with the Development Strategy, FP&A and Treasury teams to ensure that information is shared consistently and transparently.

About You…

Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).

You will be able to demonstrate both a track record and a deep understanding of working on complex development projects such as stock transfer, merger and acquisition, major regeneration, PFI and other growth routes.

You will be able to create, interpret and explain complex financial models.

You will also be a natural communicator who can build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

You will never lose sight of the big picture, but you understand intuitively when you need to examine the detail.
